As a community, everyone benefits from activities that maximize the functioning of special needs populations, that protect the public; that promote and support employment and jobs, food and nutrition, agriculture, housing and shelter, public safety, and disaster preparedness and relief. Our
Community Foundation realizes the importance of diversity and provided grant funding to Purdue Extension – Daviess County to help community leaders better understand immigration and take a closer look at our diverse community needs through a program called, Exploring Diversity, Inclusion, and
Belonging – Cultural Awareness and More. In addition, the Foundation participates in the United Way partner agency roundtable, during which Human Service agencies share their work to address Daviess County’s diverse needs.
