Our Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Veale Creek Players for the upcoming Veale Creek Summer Kids Camp.
“The grant will cover the cost of sound used for the Camp’s Production of Newsies, Jr.,” says Camp coordinator and Veale Creek volunteer, Julie Wadsworth. “The event is set for June 10 and 11 at the Washington High School Auditorium.”
“We received an overwhelming response to this year’s Summer Kids Camp,” says Joyce Morgan with Veale Creek Players. “We thank the Foundation for the grant. It came at the right time to help support our work.”
“The Board awarded this grant to address the needs in our community for Arts and Cultural experiences,” says Mary Smith, Executive Director. “The grant was awarded through our current mini grant program. That program is made possible through gifts by donors to discretionary funds.”
