Our Community Foundation has announced the second-semester Teaching Innovator Grant recipients. A $250 grant was awarded to support Kinder Sensory Bins in Madison Wagler’s classroom. Kinder Sensory Bin aims to enhance the classroom experience by providing innovative sensory materials supporting hands-on learning. Creating dynamic sensory bins engages students in various tactile and visual experiences. The bins will be used daily, and materials will rotate every 2-3 weeks. The Foundation conducted the competitive grant program during November and December, inviting Daviess County educators to apply for resources for the second semester of 2024-25 projects.
Our Community Foundation is proud to support innovative teaching methods in all area schools. We appreciate the generosity of our donors to our unrestricted funds, who made this grant possible.
